We would like to express our sincere appreciation to the Faculty of Medicine, Thammasat University and Teleflex Academy for the valuable opportunity to participate in an academic exchange on
“UroLift™: An Innovative Approach to BPH Management.”

This session focused on advancing clinical understanding of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH), a highly prevalent condition among aging men that significantly affects quality of life through lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS), including urinary frequency, urgency, nocturia, and incomplete bladder emptying.

A key component of the discussion was the UroLift System, a minimally invasive treatment for enlarged prostate that relieves urethral obstruction without tissue resection. This approach offers important clinical benefits, including faster recovery time, reduced perioperative risk, and preservation of sexual function compared to conventional surgical interventions.

The presentation incorporated both evidence-based medical data and real-world clinical experience, providing a comprehensive perspective on treatment outcomes and practical application in routine clinical practice.

It is our hope that the knowledge shared in this session will contribute to improved clinical decision-making and enhance the standard of care for patients with BPH, while expanding awareness of advanced prostate treatment options in the field of men’s urological health.
