I had the great opportunity to begin a new Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS), the procedure for treating Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH). This procedure has no side effects on sexual function and provides immediate results after surgery. We successfully performed five (5) cases which each had varying levels of complexity.

“Customization to Optimized Outcome”

The UroLift procedure is a Minimally Invasive Surgery  (MIS) performed using a scope and tiny devices to retract the prostate, widening the urethra to improve urine flow. The procedure takes only 20-30 minutes and patients do not need to stay in the hospital overnight. They can return home without a catheter which makes recovery more comfortable, quicker and with minimal pain.

Thank you to all friends for your support as always, the nursing team in the Urology Department, operating theater and all wonderful anesthesiologists who made today’s surgery a success.

We are the second hospital in the country to offer Urolift. Bangkok Pattaya Hospital and BNH Hospital are now ready to provide prostate treatments with a new alternative treatment that is suitable for patients and we will be the leaders and experts in the treatment of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH)”

Many thanks to Professor Chueh, Professor Jeff, Chairman of Urology at the College of Medicine, National Taiwan University, for your excellent proctoring and your talented and professional teaching skills. And many thanks to Professor Ka Lun Lo, who is my mentor in MIST and the first person to teach me how to perform Urolift.
